Procurement Manager
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement department, ensuring the effective management of procurement processes, and driving strategic decision-making for the company.

My client is a leading sustainable waste management company and a premier anaerobic digester developer and operator in the United States.
Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and strategies.
- Identify potential liabilities and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement department and across the organizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Professional certifications such as Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are a plus
- Proven experience managing a team
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving abilities
