Description

Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of R&D, you will be responsible for the following:

• Develop and implement advanced plastic and material strategies
• Drive innovation in product design and manufacturing processes
• Manage multiple technical projects at once
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
• Oversee the execution of product testing and validation
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Profile

A successful Principal Plastics Engineer should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PhD or Master's Degree preferred
• Significant experience in plastic materials and design
• Experience with plastic extrusion or plastic injection molding
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• A creative and innovative approach to engineering
