Principal Plastics Engineer - Nashua, NH
My client is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Plastics Engineer to drive the design and development of innovative plastic and material solutions. This role is crucial in improving the efficiency and performance of our products in the industrial/manufacturing sector.

Description
Reporting directly into the Senior Manager of R&D, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement advanced plastic and material strategies
- Drive innovation in product design and manufacturing processes
- Manage multiple technical projects at once
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
- Oversee the execution of product testing and validation
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Profile
A successful Principal Plastics Engineer should have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, PhD or Master's Degree preferred
- Significant experience in plastic materials and design
- Experience with plastic extrusion or plastic injection molding
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- A creative and innovative approach to engineering
