Customer Quality Engineer - Automotive | River Grove, IL
We're working with a client near O'Hare Airport to fill an exciting Customer Quality Engineer position. In this role, you'll primarily support automotive customers, acting as the key point of contact for customer relations, coordinating cross-functional collaboration internally, and overseeing all corrective action activities.

Description
- Be the primary point of contact for all customer communication
- Develop and execute all corrective actions
- Root cause analysis and CI activity
- Involvement in audits
- Involvement in other core quality processes like PPAP, APQP, etc
- Inspections, GD&T

Profile
- 5-10 years of quality engineering experience
- 5-10 years of direct customer interaction experience
- Background in automotive and understanding of IATF 16949
- Corrective action expert
- Root Cause Analysis experience
- Experience in metal fabrication or stamping preferred
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
- Red X problem solving experience a plus
- Six Sigma certification a plus
- Sponsorship not provided
Job Offer
- Salary up to 120,000 based on experience
