Description
- Manage and oversee all operational aspects of the construction department to ensure project efficiency and quality.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet organizational objectives and improve operational processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Monitor budgets, schedules, and resources to maintain project timelines and cost efficiency.
- Lead and mentor team members to foster professional development and enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Identify and address operational challenges, implementing solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Report on key performance indicators and provide updates to senior leadership.

Profile
A successful Director of Operations should have:
- A strong background in operations management within the construction space
- Brings 10+ years of construction management experience, including leadership over large-scale commercial or institutional projects.
- Demonstrates a strong track record of building and maintaining client relationships, with a reputation for integrity and delivery excellence.
- Possesses deep knowledge of project financials, contract negotiation, and operational oversight across multiple concurrent builds.
- Excels at leading teams through influence, developing Project Managers, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; advanced certifications (LEED AP, PMP) are a plus.
