Estimator- Construction

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with commercial construction experience to join a dynamic and growing firm. This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive bids.

Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope and requirements.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
• Develop project budgets and ensure all estimates align with company financial goals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates meet project expectations.
• Identify potential risks and propose solutions to mitigate cost overruns.
• Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as an estimator in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of preconstruction, bid processes, and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in estimating software such as ProEst, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for working with vendors and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
