Superintendent - Local Education Projects

$110,000 - $130,000/Year

Oversee daily field operations for assigned education projects, including planning, scheduling, site supervision, personnel coordination, safety enforcement, and overall project compliance.

Description

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage all field operations, including contract compliance, scheduling, staffing, sequencing, and critical path execution

  • Collaborate with Preconstruction to support estimating, means and methods, schedules, and general conditions

  • Lead and coordinate project teams and trade partners to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely project delivery

  • Implement and enforce site safety, quality assurance, and environmental compliance programs in accordance with OSHA and project requirements

  • Develop, maintain, and recover project schedules using CPM and Lean scheduling methodologies

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, drawings, expediting logs, and procurement tracking

  • Foster strong working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project stakeholders

  • Oversee pre-planning, coordination meetings, punch-list management, and project closeout activities

Profile

The Successful Applicant:

  • 5+ years of Site Superintendent experience, preferably within education or institutional construction

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred

  • OSHA 30 certified or able to obtain within 12 months of hire

  • Proven experience managing education projects and project schedules

  • Proficient in MS Office and Procore

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and team leadership skills

  • Ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate, and drive project schedules

  • Solid knowledge of commercial construction practices and skilled trades
