Sr. Superintendent - $100M School Project - Southern MA
Looking for a Sr. Superintendent to manage large scale construction projects ($100M+) for one of Boston's leading General Contractors!

Description
The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage all phases of construction, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor field staff, subcontractors, and other personnel on-site, ensuring effective communication and a cohesive, high-performing team.
- Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain construction schedules, allocate resources effectively, and ensure that the project is progressing according to the approved plan.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
- Quality Control: Inspect work regularly to ensure it meets project specifications and quality standards. Implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve on-site issues, such as delays, resource shortages, or conflicts, to keep the project on track.
- Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns as they arise.
- Budget Management: Monitor project costs, track expenditures, and ensure that the project stays within the approved budget.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including daily logs, safety reports, and inspection reports. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Work closely with subcontractors, ensuring their work is scheduled and executed according to project requirements and timelines.
Profile
The Senior Superintendent will have:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Proven track record of running large scale construction projects ($50M-$100M+)
- Certifications: CSL, OSHA 30-hour certification, First Aid/CPR certification, and other relevant construction certifications.

- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, time-management, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
