Project Manager- Financial Institution/ Bank Experience - DTLA
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to plan and oversee a wide variety of fast-paced commerical, commercial tenant improvements projects specifically with financial institution/ bank clients from beginning to end in Los Angeles County.

My client is a national, commercial general contractor based in Los Angeles, whom for 2 decades successfully developed partnerships throughout the United States with developers and construction management firms. With a 90% repeat client rate, they have consistently delivered excellence in tenant improvement and quick turn over projects.
Description
- Oversee construction projects from beginning to end
- Manage the budget and estimate costs
- Prepare reports regarding job status
- Resolve any problems that may arise
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team
- Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
- Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
- Plan construction operations
- Ensure all deadlines are met
- Delegate responsibilities
- Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
- Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
- Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
Profile
- 5+ years' experience in commercial construction, preferably fast-paced tenant improvements, bank/ financial institutionincluding experience with a commercial general contractor
- Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously
- Proficient in market software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam
- Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings
- Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results
- Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends
