Process Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Dover, NH
As a Process Engineer, you will drive the innovation of new products, optimize existing products and processes, and resolve production challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous improvement methodologies to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Description
The Process Engineer will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:
- Analyze and optimize rubber manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance production throughput and reduce waste.
- Monitor process parameters and troubleshoot issues to ensure consistent product quality.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to identify and resolve process bottlenecks.
- Design and execute trials for new raw materials, process changes, and equipment modifications.
- Determination of tooling modifications and coordination of tooling repair/refurbishment.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in rubber or polymer manufacturing.
- Knowledge of rubber processing methods (e.g., mixing, extrusion, molding, curing).
- Familiarity with rubber materials (e.g., AEM, ACM, silicone and FKM) and machinery.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in process simulation, data analysis, and statistical tools.
