Senior Partnership Accountant - New York City
This experienced Accounting professional will be a strong communicator who oversees all aspects of financial accounting for our client's members and investors.
Client Details
Our client is a leading quantitative investment fund, headquartered in New York City, but operate globally. As a quant fund, they rely on mathematics and algorithms to make investment decisions.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Senior Partnership Accountant include the following:
- Reviewing and approving journal entries and reconciliations
- Preparation and review of quarterly statements and annual projection statements
- Maintaining timely and accurate records of members' capital and loans
- Preparing and communicating annual return information
- Preparing schedules for external auditors, and communicating efficiently
Profile
The ideal Senior Partnership Accountant will possess the following qualities:
- 10-15 years of experience in public accounting and/or finance
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Strong communicator who can easily build relationships
- Excel skills
- Organization and attention to detail
