Description

Commercial Superintendent - Rhode Island - up to $25M - Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Manage all aspects of project life cycles, including design, permitting, bidding, subcontractor management, scheduling, and quality control.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
• Manage and supervise a team of on-site personnel, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all times.
• Provide leadership to the project team, including managing project budgets, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
• Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices, change orders, and project progress reports.
• Act as a liaison between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, ensuring the company's values are upheld in every aspect of the project.

Profile

Commercial Superintendent - Rhode Island - up to $25M - Will have

• Minimum of 5 years in construction management, with a focus on commercial, healthcare, academic, biotech, or luxury residential projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and managing subcontractors.
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing teams of diverse professionals.
• Proficiency in project management software, MS Office Suite, Procore, or similar tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Must be based in the Rhode Island area and able to travel to job sites in RI, MA, and CT as needed.
