Description

As In-House Commercial Legal Counsel varied responsibilities include:

• Providing the business with legal support - engaging stakeholders across all levels of seniority across the business (US and Canada).
• Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of contracts - including marketing and influencer partnerships.
• Guiding the company on legal matters, updating policies, delivering training to encourage compliance and best practice.
• Advising on risk management issues and corporate governance.
• Engaging and managing external legal counsel as required.

Profile

The successful In-House Legal Counsel - Commercial will offer:

• A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• 4+ years relevant experience (combination of private practice and in-house), preference for some in-house experience or having been seconded in-house from private practice.
• Strong communication, negotiating and stakeholder management skills.
• Enjoys variety, comfortable juggling multiple projects and business requests.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.

Job Offer

The In-House Legal Counsel - Commercial role is offering:

• Competitive salary c. $120,000 - $175,000 per annum
• 10% annual bonus
