Description

In-House Legal Counsel - commercial role:

• Provide expert and strategic legal advice to management
• Structure, draft and review commercial contracts and other legal documents
• Work directly with business stakeholers to provide proactive advice on varied legal matters
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties and manage outside counsel

Profile

The successful In-House Legal Counsel will have:

• Juris Doctor degree and admission in good standing to the New York State Bar.
• A proven track (4+ years in-house) working in corporate in-house legal roles
• Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
• Outstanding communication skills
• Proficiency in structuring, drafting and reviewing corporate contracts and legal documents
• Excellent negotiation, communication and business stakeholder management skills
