Assistant Project Manager - Public Projects - Killingly, CT

This role requires an individual who is comfortable managing the daily on-site operations of the project, as well as taking on Project Engineer type tasks when necessary.

Description
Assistant Project Manager - Public Projects - Killingly, CT - Responsibilities
- Manage daily on-site project operations for the community center project and other public works projects, ensuring the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets all quality standards.
- Provide support on engineering tasks such as submittals, RFI management, and document control. Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and procurement processes.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, field superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure effective execution and address issues promptly.
- Support the management of project budgets and assist with forecasting, tracking expenses, and controlling costs, particularly in CM at Risk environments where financial oversight and risk mitigation are critical.
- Utilize Procore for project management, Bluebeam for document control, and Excel/MS Office for scheduling and reporting. Familiarity with Primavera P6 is a plus
- Ensure all work meets the clients high standards of safety and quality, adhering to OSHA regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for all involved

Job Offer
Assistant Project Manager - Public Projects - Killingly, CT - Will receive
- $90K - $105K, depending on experience.
