Senior Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly closing entries for assigned subsidiaries.
• Perform detailed reviews and analysis of account balances to ensure accuracy.
• Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Conduct budget-to-actual analysis, identifying variances and assessing trends.
• Monitor, analyze, and settle intercompany transactions.
• Help with the consolidation process and the preparation of consolidated reports.
• Prepare bank reconciliations to ensure proper cash flow management.
• Contribute to special financial projects, including automating accounting processes.
• Assist with accounting for complex or non-routine transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax accountants to provide requested information.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred
• Minimum 2-3+ years of combined private and public accounting experience preferred, but would consider straight from public accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS).
• Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Experience with NetSuite and accounting system implementation highly preferred but not required
• Experience in accounting for multiple entities, consolidation and intercompany transactions
