Tax Accountant - Legal - NYC
Excellent Tax Accountant opportunity at a growing law firm based in NYC, serving clients from offices located in the leading financial and business centers in the Americas, Europe and Asia. This opportunity will include, but will not be limited to, tax compliance for operating partnerships for state and local and federal.
Client Details
My client is a well-known law firm based in NYC. They are a smaller and more collaborative tax team who goes into the office 3x/week.
Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of various federal, state and international business filings, local tax registrations, and sales/value added tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of tax estimates
- Reconcile tax ledgers
- Participate in firm projects
- Coordinate and monitor foreign tax obligations
- Collaborate with various teams in the Finance Department to complete various tasks and assignments
Profile
- 3-6 years of relevant tax experience (state and local tax a must)
- Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
- CPA preferred, not required
- Strong and effective communicator
