Accounting Manager

As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulations. Description

• Lead and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, financial forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Oversee inventory accounting and ensure accuracy of cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to leadership.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals.
• Assist with financial reporting for tax filings and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operations.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Previous experience in the cosmetics, manufacturing, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Expertise in financial software (ERP systems experience a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
