Director of Operations
The role available with our client is a Director of Operations is responsible for leading the operations team and running all necessary training. They will be in charge of all aspects of operations and work cross-functionally when needed.

The client for this position is a premier contract manufacturer within the personal care industry that generate high quality products in California.
Description
- Oversee daily manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics operations to ensure efficiency.
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure optimal production planning, inventory control, and procurement processes.
- Maintain and improve relationships with vendors, suppliers, and distribution partners.
- Ensure all products meet industry regulations (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.) and quality standards.
- Oversee quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) teams to maintain product integrity.
- Stay up to date with regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance measures.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies in production and supply chain workflows.
- Develop and manage operational budgets to ensure cost efficiency.
- Analyze financial reports, production costs, and profit margins to optimize spending.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the personal care, cosmetics, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
- Proven track record in manufacturing, supply chain management, and process optimization.
- Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and quality assurance.
- Familiarity with FDA, GMP, and other regulatory requirements for personal care products.
- Experience with ERP systems, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams to drive performance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
- Experience in reducing waste, improving productivity, and enhancing product quality.
- Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in personal care manufacturing.
