My Client has been a leader in the concrete construction industry for over 20 years, delivering high-quality projects across Maryland, Southern Pennsylvania, and Virginia. With a strong reputation built on expertise and reliability, they have established lasting relationships with various top general contractors within the DMV area. Their project portfolio spans hospitals, higher education institutions, commercial and retail properties, and large-scale infrastructure developments. Currently, they have a $12 million backlog, with additional contracts expected by the end of February, ensuring job security and long-term growth opportunities
Description
My Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Middle River, MD. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee submittals and RFIs, and contribute to estimating. The Project Manager will report directly to the company president, who is involved in all aspects of the business but maintains a balanced approach to leadership.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple concrete construction projects from inception to completion.
Oversee submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain smooth project operations.
Utilize Procore for project management and estimating software (experience preferred).
Maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Support company growth by actively engaging in strategic project planning.
Profile
Experience: 5-7+ years as a Project Manager in concrete construction.
Project Background: Experience in hospitals, schools, colleges, airports, or retail/commercial construction.
Stability: A proven career trajectory without excessive job-hopping.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Procore; estimating experience is a significant advantage.
Work Ethic: Ready to commit to a 50-hour workweek in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
