Manager of Accounting & FP&A
The Manager of Accounting and FP&A plays a vital role in supporting both the Controller and the Director of FP&A to ensure the company's financial health and enable strategic decision-making.

Our client is a is a food service manufacturing company that is a leader in their space and has been in business for 85+ years.
Description
- Prepare and ensure the accuracy of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing required documentation and resolving audit findings.
- Develop and implement internal controls to maintain financial integrity.
- Identify and implement suitable controls to protect the organization, ensure high confidence in financial output and help build a high degree of credibility across the financial organization and the entire Company.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process, collaborating with leadership to develop and monitor financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analyses, comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Create financial models to support decision-making and evaluate business opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports and analyses to senior management.
- Identify and construct new and/or enhanced reporting to help analyze the performance of the Company.
- Support the data requests and obligations from third parties
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, with additional experience in FP&A preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently but also takes direction well.
- Is resourceful with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to work.
