Project Engineer

Project Engineer role based out of Phoenix working on commercial projects for a nationally ranked GC. Must be open to travel.

Client Details

An ENR ranked GC founded in 1983 looking to build out their Arizona team. Projects they work on consist of government, retail, data center, and commercial. They're partnered with a variety of Foturne 500 companies and their team lead used to run construction for Maricopa County.

Description

• Planning and scheduling: Create detailed plans and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Managing resources: Allocate and manage resources like equipment, materials, and personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Ensuring quality: Conduct regular inspections and testing to make sure deliverables meet quality standards.
• Providing technical support: Offer technical guidance and support to the project team to resolve issues.
• Communicating: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, engineers, management, and BIM designers.
• Managing budgets: Ensure projects are completed within budget.

• Creating specifications: Design and adapt technical specifications to meet project objectives or regulations.

• Assigning responsibilities: Assign responsibilities to project team members and mentor them.

• Monitoring progress: Monitor project progress and identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Measuring metrics: Create frameworks to measure project metrics and collect data.

Profile

• Construction Management degree
• Looking to grow long term
• At least one year of experience working for a GC on large commercial projects
