Our client, a leading general contractor in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced Interiors Superintendent to oversee high-end interior renovations and fit-outs. The role involves managing on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

Description

• Manage daily onsite activities for interior construction projects in Manhattan.
• Supervise subcontractors, trades, and site staff to ensure quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth workflow and problem-solving.
• Maintain project schedules, monitoring timelines and adjusting as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections, reporting on progress and any issues that arise.
• Handle project documentation, including daily reports and updates to senior management.

Profile

• 7+ years of experience in construction as a Superintendent, with a focus on interiors.
• Proven track record of delivering interior fit-out projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and building codes in New York.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Local NYC experience preferred.
