Production Manager

The Production Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing all functions of the processes involved throughout production. Other responsibilities include overseeing operations within the facility, and providing the site with thorough strategic plans to make certain best practices are met.

Description

• Plan, staff, and oversee production operations to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor daily operations and supervise production team, managing schedules, time sheets, and time-off requests.
• Provide training, development, and maintain positive employee relations.
• Track operational metrics using performance and financial management tools.
• Ensure team meets business targets and service level agreements with quality standards.
• Adjust staffing and schedules as needed.
• Create and manage SOPs for processes and facility.
• Support QA systems to comply with USDA food processing standards.
• Assist on production lines to meet order deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Profile

A successful candidate is one who is experience in a similar role to this, and is able to speak both English and Spanish. Being able to work in a fast paced environment with leadership skills is a must. Thorough communication skills, and the ability to work overtime/weekends is crucial. Ability to meet SOPs and GMPS, as well as adhering to all safety requirements instilled.
