Manufacturing Technician | Precision Machining

Seeking a dedicated and innovative Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Chicago. This role will involve improving operational efficiency and developing innovative manufacturing processes.

My client is a fast-growing branch of a worldwide manufacturing company, specializing in the manufacturing of precision machined components used by other manufacturers. They are a mulitnaitonal brand that speicalies in differnet sectors. umbrella. Located in the Sothernsuburbs of Chicago, this division is set for a rapid expansion, as the company is investing heavily into the future of the site.

Description

• Initial responsibilities would be incorporating a new product line
• Doing a lot to design the process off the jump.
• Once it's an established product line, it will be shifting to a CI position
• Everyone they have there is on the floor -- more than 50%

Profile

• Good undertsaning of CNC percisoin maching (mills, lathes ect)
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.
