Senior Project Manager - Public/Multifamily/Commercial
Michael Page is partnered with one of MA's longest running General Contractors and they are looking for a Senior Project Manager for upcoming projects West of Boston! This individual will need to be comfortable with Commercial, Academic, and Multifamily projects up to $50M and have ground up experience in one of their sectors. Client Details
My client has been serving the Western, MA Construction Market for just shy of 20 years, beginning as a local residential contractor and has now grown into a multi-faceted General Construction firm that is taking on 90% commercial projects and have just adjusted their business model to take on projects up to $50M. They specialize in most major sectors of Construction Projects from $5M - $25M and are looking to expand to $100M/year by 2030. They are very actively looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a variety of ground up and renovations projects in the area for local colleges, municipalities, and businesses.
Description
As the Senior Project Manager you will:
- Coordinate project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project time lines
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross- functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution
- Contribute to budget management by monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and identifying cost saving opportunities
- Assist in procurement activities
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Report and communicate effectively with Project Executive and Construction Manager
- Have the clear opportunity to grow to PX within the business
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects over $10M+
- Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
- Organization skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
