Executive Vice President, Real Estate

This position is based out of the Salt Lake City, Utah location and lead their Western United States operations. Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer - this role will be responsible for the following:
Strategic Design & Vision
- Provide executive oversight of architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design excellence and alignment with project strategy.
- Lead cross‑discipline coordination and resolve complex design challenges.
- Evaluate documents for quality, constructability, and financial impact.
Financial Leadership
- Oversee development budgets, financial modelling, and capital planning.
- Guide cost estimating, value management, and key financial decisions.
- Serve as senior liaison with lenders and partners; lead loan structuring, incentives, and closings (including TIF, SIB, and other financing tools).
Regulatory & Government Affairs
- Direct entitlement, zoning, and permitting strategies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal, state, and federal stakeholders.
- Act as a senior representative to community groups and civic organizations.
Program & Schedule Management
- Govern the master project schedule and ensure alignment across design, permitting, financing, and construction pathways.
- Anticipate risks, drive proactive mitigation, and maintain project momentum.
Construction Oversight
- Lead pre‑construction strategy, procurement, and major contract negotiations.
- Provide executive oversight of field operations, quality, change management, and monthly funding processes.
- Interface with inspectors, equity partners, and lenders to ensure transparency and performance.
Close‑Out & Transition
- Oversee punch lists, final inspections, retainage release, and documentation.
- Lead Certificate of Occupancy process and transition to property management.
- Support tenant delivery and operational readiness.
Marketing, Leasing & Stabilization
- Partner with marketing and leasing leadership on branding, positioning, and model units.
- Support lease‑up strategy and transition to long‑term operations.

Profile
A successful Executive Vice President, Real Estate Development should have:
- Strong leadership and management skills with a strategic mindset.
- Extensive experience in real estate operations within the financial services industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analyzing market trends and developing strategic plans.
- Proven ability to oversee asset management, acquisitions, and dispositions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Real Estate Related Field
- Master's Degree preferred, not essential
- 10 - 15+ years of Real Estate Sector leadership tenure
Job Offer
- Base Salary Range: $230,000 - $250,000
- Executive level bonus eligibility
