Superintendent
An established and rapidly growing commercial contractor in Central PA is seeking a Superintendent to join its field leadership team. Description
- Lead all on‑site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the high standards expected.
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, inspections, and daily workflow.
- Enforce safety protocols and foster a culture of accountability on the jobsite.
- Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, inspectors, and field teams to keep all parties aligned.
- Solve problems proactively and keep projects moving smoothly, even when conditions shift.
Profile
- Experienced (minimal 5 years) Construction on-site superintendent (or Foreman) to oversee commercial building construction projects (schedule subcontractors, subcontractor quality control, manage internal employees (carpenters/labors), read and interpret drawings, coordinate building inspections, owner/architect correspondence, layout, safety compliance, documentation of daily activities)
- Prefer this person has prior experience as a carpenter and has vast knowledge the trade and associated tools necessary to perform work
- Prefer this person is willing to engage in carpentry work on the jobsite when time permits
- Minimal technology experience required…but need to be able to utilize a laptop for emails, and basic work/excel documents
