Established General Contractor, is looking for a Superintendent to join their team, first project is 6 months in Mashpee!

Specialize in Design/Build - New Construction, Occupied Renovations, & Tenant Fit-outs, primarily in the Multifamily, Condominium, & Affordable Housing space. 20 units - 35 units typically, however projects have exceeded 130 units, looking into getting into larger Multifamily work come 2026.

They also have an expertise in Commercial, Office Space, Data Centers, Manufacturing Facilities, Healthcare & Academic projects.

Description

The responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent - Commercial & Multifamily projects

  • Managing an initial 6-month project in Mashpee, followed by assignments closer to their location
  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
  • Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and other workers on the job site
  • Ensuring that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements
  • Reviewing project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete
  • Working with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets
  • Maintaining accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports
  • Communicating regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Identifying and addressing issues and problems that arise during construction
  • Ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Conducting site inspections and safety audits to ensure that the job site is safe and secure

Profile

The successful Construction Superintendent - Commercial & Multifamily projects

  • 10+ years of Superintendent experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Mix of Commercial & Multifamily projects ideally
  • Based in Cape Cod or Greater Boston, with flexibility to manage an initial 6-month project in Mashpee, followed by assignments closer to their location
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects and oversee operations effectively
  • Highly adaptable, with excellent communication skills, and a desire to build a long-term career with a thriving, growth-focused firm
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic, commitment to self-improvement, and personal growth
  • Proficient with modern construction technology and tools: Procore, Bluebeam
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, & dedication to safety- willing to go the extra mile for the better of a project
