Project manager - Life Science - Raleigh

Description

    • Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority
    • Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
    • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project Schedule
    • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required
    • Dictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or others
    • Confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems
    • Take part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phase
    • Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forward
    • Work with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationships
    • Assist in developing and maintaining the project schedule

Profile

    • 10+ years of Project Manager experience
    • Experience working on life science and healthcare projects is required
    • Must have ran a large life sciences project as the lead from start to finish
    • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree
    • Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred
    • Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success
    • Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors
    • Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level
    • Local to Raleigh preferred, though re locators will be considered

Job Offer

    • Base salary contingent on experience, ranging approximately $100,000-$130,000
