Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Construction
This is a rare opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join a newly established construction arm of a well‑capitalized multifamily developer experiencing rapid growth across the Southeast. The role will support garden‑style apartment projects and offer clear progression as new projects break ground.

Our client is a privately backed multifamily developer that recently launched its in‑house construction division to support a growing pipeline of garden‑style apartment developments. With multiple projects planned through 2028, the business offers long‑term stability, exposure to full project lifecycles, and meaningful career growth within a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
Description
- Support the Project Manager on garden‑style multifamily projects (200-300 units)
- Coordinate subcontractors and assist with scope reviews and buyout
- Participate in subcontractor meetings and site coordination
- Assist with schedules, RFIs, submittals, and cost tracking
- Work closely with leadership within the construction division
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager - Multifamily Construction should have:
- 2-5 years of construction experience on multifamily projects
- Garden‑style apartment experience strongly preferred
- Stable employment history with reputable MF general contractors
- Local to Charleston, SC (Raleigh‑based candidates considered)
Job Offer
Salary: $80,000-$120,000 base (dependent on experience)
- Full benefits package including health insurance and 401(k)
- PTO offered; no vehicle allowance
