Maintenance Supervisor- 2nd Shift
Our Client is looking for someone to oversee the Maintenance Department, ensuring it provides comprehensive support to all Plant departments. Foster a motivated and collaborative maintenance team by applying teamwork and employee involvement strategies, aiming to deliver exceptional repair and preventive maintenance services for all plant equipment.

Description
- Supervise preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.
- Manage maintenance and repairs for all plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Generate work orders and oversee their timely completion, adhering to the highest quality standards.
- Schedule staff to maximize efficiency and coverage across the maintenance department.
- Assist with record-keeping and manage the preventative and predictive maintenance program, including data entry into the computerized maintenance management system.
- Provide equipment recommendations, including design and layout suggestions.
- Direct workers involved in painting and structural repairs of the facility and equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets blueprints, specifications, and standards.
- Review production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements to complete assignments.
- Communicate company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
- Adjust work procedures as needed to meet production schedules.
- Recommend changes in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance work crew efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve work-related issues, assisting workers in problem-solving as needed.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities across departments.
- Perform the tasks of workers under supervision when necessary.
Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in a Supervisor or Foreman role.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Capable of prolonged walking and standing.
- Ability to tolerate temperature fluctuations, including environments as cold as -20º F.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
