Superintendent - Real Estate Management and Development Firm
Our client is urgently looking for a Superintendent to join their team!
Client Details
- Office location: Pittsburgh PA
- Project locations: Throughout New England, 3 year long project in Southern MA
- Overview of the business: Real Estate Management and Development Company based out of Pittsburgh. Everything is done in-house from the construction to the property management.
- Projects: Luxury Apartments & Townhomes - 9,000+ units across 16 different states
Description
- Responsible for general supporting contract, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications under direction from the Superintendent.
- Check and verify subcontractor layout to ensure compliance with established control, line and grade.
- Monitor production and record rates in logbook to be used for future scheduling.
- Report any and all field conditions and issues to the Superintendent.
- Monitor job progress on-site, checking all work to ensure compliance with contract documents and the Quality Control Program.
- Work with Superintendent to develop and carry out the plan and schedule for project work.
- Plan and prepare documentation to facilitate the close out process at the discretion of the Superintendent.
- Work with and coach field engineers on the project to facilitate their skills development.
- Maintaining the Construction Management Plan and logistical co-ordination
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent leading projects (Ideally in the Multifamily or residential space)
- Experience utilizing construction software (Procore, Bluebeam)
- Experience successfully overseeing ground up commercial/multifamily construction projects
