This firm is hiring a Litigation Legal Secretary to support attorneys and legal teams with a range of administrative and securities litigation-related duties, including court filings, document management, scheduling, and client communications. Description

  • Manage, organize, and maintain litigation documents and pleadings using iManage and shared drives
  • Draft and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, discovery materials, declarations, and orders
  • Coordinate court filings, electronic service of documents, and service of process with vendors
  • Maintain attorney and paralegal calendars, including court-related deadlines and meetings
  • Communicate with the docket department and assist with deposition scheduling and exhibits
  • Handle client communications, schedule calls, and manage travel arrangements in line with firm policy
  • Prepare engagement letters, conflict checks, new business forms, and internal audit materials
  • Enter time using Intapp and process billing tasks, expense reports, and reimbursement requests
  • Support multiple supervisors and assist other team members as needed

Profile

  • Has 3+ years of litigation legal secretarial experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, iManage, Intapp, and legal technology like Litera
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, writing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize, delegate tasks, and adapt to shifting assignments
  • Professional, reliable, punctual, and able to interact with clients, court personnel, and coworkers with tact
  • Knowledgeable about court rules, procedures, and legal terminology
  • Preferred but not required: a bachelor's degree

Job Offer

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and location.
