The Billing Coordinator will oversee and manage billing processes within the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of billing practices in major law firms.

Description
- Manage and process client billing in compliance with established guidelines and timelines.
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure proper documentation and billing accuracy.
- Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and prepare necessary reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of billing procedures and policies.
- Provide support for audits and respond to inquiries related to billing activities.
- Work closely with clients to address and resolve billing concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company-specific billing requirements.
Profile
A successful Billing Coordinator should have:
- A strong understanding of billing processes within the business services or legal industry.
- Minimum 4+ years of law firm billing experience
- Proficiency in billing software and tools (Aderant/Elite/3E)
- Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving billing issues.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy.
