Seeking a Senior Operations Engineer will utilize advanced data analysis and statistical tools to enhance manufacturing processes and ensure the successful implementation of new equipment and processes. Description

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage statistical and data analysis tools within a structured problem-solving framework to enhance current operations or convert customer requirements into efficient and reliable manufacturing processes.
  • Design, conduct, and evaluate multi-phase validation scenarios to assess if new equipment, processes, or tooling meet the necessary performance criteria and metrics.
  • Develop and manage Charters and Implementation Plans, including defining project scope, expected benefits, resource needs, and timelines.
  • Serve as an Engineering liaison across various teams, participating in analysis, design, and project review sessions.
  • Create product and equipment specifications to ensure that processes are capable of manufacturing.
  • Facilitate the transition of project solutions, new processes, or products into ongoing operations through operator training and the development of standard operating procedures as needed.
  • Create and enforce control plans to ensure that project gains and improvements are sustained over time.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of the Operational Strategy to drive Operational Excellence both regionally and globally.

Profile

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5 to 9 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in plastics, textiles, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes in textiles or plastics is preferred.
  • Strong strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to transform ambiguous issues into actionable recommendations and execution plans.
  • Understanding of finance, costing, SIOP and general business processes.
  • Proficiency in operations, business processes, and analytics.
  • High level of expertise and hands-on experience with Oracle, MS Office Suite, Power BI, and other data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Proven project management, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to understand the broader impact of work on other business areas.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, adjusting focus based on impact and urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation, effective across various organizational levels.
