The responsibilities of the Construction Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Springfield, MA

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and other workers on the job site.
• Ensure that all work is done in compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
• Work with project managers to develop project schedules and budgets.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.
• Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Profile

The Construction Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Springfield, MA - will have the following attributes

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of experience in construction supervision, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector.
• Ground Up Mixed-Use Experience preferred
• Commercial Experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and other requirements.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
