Project Manager - Vertical Concrete Construction - MD or VA

My client is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager with 5+ years of experience managing large-scale vertical concrete construction projects. This is a strategic hire for their growing Mid-Atlantic team, which is part of a nationally ranked concrete contractor. The PM will oversee all phases of construction, from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability.

Description

• Lead and manage cast-in-place concrete projects ranging from $10M to $100M+
• Coordinate with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control
• Provide mentorship and leadership to junior staff and field teams
• Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a PM on vertical concrete projects (not horizontal)
• Background in multi-level cast-in-place buildings, data centers, or other large-scale commercial or industrial projects
• Strong understanding of structural concrete, tilt-up walls, slabs on grade/deck, and foundations
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules and budgets
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Comfortable working independently and making site/office decisions
