Construction Superintendent - Large Projects - Kansas City, MO

Our client is an award winning General Contractor looking for a hard-working Construction Superintendent to join the team and make immediate impact. They want someone who would join and desire to grow within the company - and reward them with generous compensation and excellent benefits.

Client Details

• $220 million in revenue - has grown from $225 in the last 7 years.
• Primary projects are large Multi-family, Historical Reno/Adaptive Re Use, Commercial and University apartments. They are interested in Health care but have nothing solid yet - however they have grown their health care versed staff to pursue those projects.

Description

• Manage all day-to-day field activities.
• Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.
• Lead the team with appropriate construction project planning and developing site logistics.
• Maintain strong relationships with municipalities for potential future business.
• Schedule on-site inspections as needed along with the jobs site.
• Review all bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.
• Ensure all proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and all safety requirements.
• Work closely with job investors and maintain professional attitude.
• Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
• Keep daily and weekly construction work logs.
• Ensure good time management and to have timely completion of projects.
• Monitor job subcontractors to ensure safety guidelines are met.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
• OSHA certified.
• Experience leading and scheduling integrated teams.
• Multi-family, ground-up or TI required.
• Proficiency in Procore.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• True leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred (preferably in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or one similar.
• Proficient in reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• New construction and ground-up experience.
• True leadership experience managing teams.
