Description

The VP of Construction is responsible for:

• Providing strategic leadership across all construction operations and project teams
• Overseeing preconstruction planning, scheduling, cost management, and resource allocation
• Managing and mentor Project Managers, fostering a high-performance culture
• Partnering with executive leadership on long-term growth strategy and operational improvements
• Establishing and tracking KPIs for safety, quality, budget, and project performance
• Cultivating relationships with developers, engineers, subcontractors, and key partners
• Resolving escalated issues related to contracts, scheduling, compliance, or field operations

Profile

The right VP of Construction will have:

• 10+ years of progressive construction management experience within the electrical sector
• 3+ years in a senior or executive leadership role
• Strong financial oversight skills, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
• Proven track record managing complex, multi‑phase electrical projects
• Strong communicator and skilled leader capable of driving performance and culture
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational decision‑making
