Finance Manager | Global Manufacturer | NW Suburbs
The Finance Manager will lead all accounting and finance activities for the U.S. operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and coordination with the company's international headquarters. This individual will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and maintaining strong internal controls.
Success in this role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, experience operating within a global environment, and the ability to communicate effectively with both U.S. and international stakeholders.

Description
Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activities
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Coordinate financial consolidation, reporting, and intercompany activities with global headquarters
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning cycles
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax and reporting requirements
- Manage cash flow, treasury activities, and banking relationships
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes
- Work with external auditors and third‑party advisors
- Provide financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions
- Lead, mentor, and develop a U.S.-based accounting team
- Support ongoing system utilization (client recently implemented Microsoft Dynamics)
Profile
- Manufacturing industry experience
- Strong accounting foundation with blended accounting + finance capabilities
- Experience working within an international organization
- Solid knowledge of GAAP, and familiarity with IFRS
- Ability to work effectively with global teams and executives
Job Offer
- Base Salary: $110,000-$135,000
- Bonus: Up to 20% annually
- PTO: 20 days
- Holidays: 8 paid holidays
- 401(k): Company match
