Production Manager

Description
- Develop and execute production schedules to meet demand and optimize efficiency
- Lead and coach production teams to meet quality, safety, and output goals
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce operational waste
- Ensure compliance with SQF and food safety protocols
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, logistics, and procurement
- Support month-end inventory counts and reporting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment
- Document and refine training materials and SOPs
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues as needed
Profile
- 5+ years in food manufacturing, with 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
- SQF experience and commitment to food safety
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable in a hands-on role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools
