My client, is a well-established leader in the construction industry, is seeking an Project Manager (PM) to join their dynamic team based in Largo, Maryland. With over 14 years in business and an annual revenue exceeding $50 million, this company has a strong presence in the construction sector. Their diverse portfolio includes commercial, restaurant, government, and office projects, both interior and ground-up construction, with a primary focus on projects ranging from $2 million to $20 million. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and impactful construction firm.
Description
- Lead and manage all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
- Set project objectives, policies, and procedures, ensuring a clear path to completion within established parameters.
- Oversee the buyout of subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Maintain strong client, architect, and engineer relationships to support successful project execution.
- Provide technical expertise in interpreting project drawings, methods, and equipment needs.
- Represent the company in project meetings, serving as a key point of contact for all stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly job status reports detailing project priorities and any emerging issues.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of corporate and industry practices, ensuring projects meet compliance and quality standards.
- Drive client satisfaction through attentive management and by addressing any concerns proactively.
- Assist in preparing competitive bids and proposals for potential clients.
- Mentor Assistant Project Managers (APMs) and other team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in mentoring and training APMs, with a focus on developing their technical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and liaise with architects and engineers.
- In-depth understanding of contract administration, scheduling, and budget management.
- Commitment to client satisfaction and project quality.
- Exposure to procore, micrsoft project

- Competitive Salary: 100,000-120,000 (Depending on experience)
