My client, a nationally renowned development and construction company, is actively seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to spearhead a ground up multi-family project in downtown Milwaukee. They are one of the fastest growing multi-family builders in the country, and they operate on an ethos that prioritizes protecting their employee's work/life balance and building projects that make an impact to their communities. 85% of their work is in affordable housing, as a core belief of the company is to provide shelter to underprivileged. They are currently operating in 19 states, and the Milwaukee market is one of their fastest growing markets.

Description
- Assume overall on-site leadership, coordination, and management of construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Direct and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations, and proactively address any construction-related challenges that arise.
- Optimize resource allocation, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and project efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
- Maintain meticulous project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and community stakeholders, fostering open communication and exceptional client satisfaction.
- Enforce stringent safety protocols to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all project personnel.
Profile
- Demonstrated track record of 8+ years as a successful Construction Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Ground up experience required
- Some experience managing multi-family or other wood frame projects
- Exceptional leadership abilities, inspiring and motivating project teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, facilitating effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate project implementation.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and compliance, prioritizing the well-being of the project team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
Job Offer
- Base salary of $130K-150K
- Generous bonus potential at 15-20% annually
