Traveling Superintendent - General Contractor

Description

• Oversee and manage all construction operations.
• Lead field personnel to ensure the project is completed as planned, on time, and within budget while meeting quality and design requirements.
• Monitor and adjust construction schedules, addressing any issues that arise.
• Coordinate material deliveries and arrange necessary inspections during the project.
• Grasp the project's plans and specifications thoroughly.
• Comprehend the scope and boundaries of subcontractor contracts.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.
• Capture daily progress photos of the site and share them with the project team.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager daily to resolve issues, handle warranties, manage contracts, address change orders, and coordinate project-related matters.
• Prepare, plan, and oversee the completion of a final checklist of remaining tasks.
• Prioritize job site safety, promote safe work practices, and promptly address safety hazards.
• Ensure that all company employees and contractors adhere to safety policies.
• Maintain an orderly job site, including the construction office or workspace.

Profile

• Interest in interacting with clients/owners
• Easy-going, self-motivated, honest, and collaborative
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction in the field
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Project)
• Proven track record of effectively and efficiently managing job sites
• Strong communication skills

Job Offer

• Above-market base salary | $100k-$115k
