The Superintendent will oversee and manage daily construction activities on projects across DC, Maryland, and Virginia, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Description

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.

• Collaborate with project management, engineers, architects, and clients to maintain clear communication and project alignment.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources, proactively addressing any issues or delays.

• Oversee quality control processes to ensure all work meets contractual requirements and industry standards.

• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and equipment usage to optimize productivity.

• Lead efforts to resolve conflicts or challenges that arise during construction.

• Maintain accurate documentation, daily reports, and progress updates for stakeholders.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects, preferably in complex or large-scale environments.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety regulations, and industry best practices.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents including blueprints and specifications.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Familiarity with construction software and project management tools is a plus
