Project Accountant
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring that costs, budgets, and schedules are tracked accurately and in compliance with company policies and industry standards. This role is critical in supporting the project management team and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of ongoing projects.

They are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join their dynamic team.
Description
Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking.
Review, verify, and process project-related invoices and payments.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and accounting standards.
Work closely with project managers to monitor progress and identify potential cost overruns or issues.
Provide timely financial reports, including variance analysis and cash flow projections.
Assist with monthly and year-end financial closing procedures.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation for all financial transactions.
Support the preparation of financial statements and audits.
Monitor and report on project profitability.
Work closely with the accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure proper accounting practices.
Profile
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent is a plus).
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Procore, Viewpoint, or similar).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex financial data.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
