Senior Manager of Facilities
The Senior Manager of Facilities plays a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and strategic direction of the organization's building. They will ensure the environment is safe, efficient, and conducive to the needs of employees, customers, and other stakeholders.

Description
- Oversee daily facility operations: Ensure that buildings and grounds are well-maintained, clean, and secure. This includes managing HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and other key systems.
- Vendor and contractor management: Hire and manage third-party vendors for various services (cleaning, landscaping, security, etc.), negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
- Develop and manage budgets: Plan and oversee the budget for facility operations, ensuring expenses align with financial goals and are within limits. This includes forecasting costs for maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
- Cost control and efficiency: Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures, such as energy-efficient solutions, while maintaining high service levels.
- Manage facilities team: Supervise, lead, and train a team of facility staff, including custodians, maintenance technicians, and security personnel.
- Staff performance management: Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and foster professional development within the facilities team.
- Facility management systems: Utilize software tools and technology for tracking maintenance requests, managing energy usage, and reporting facility performance.
- Building automation systems: Oversee or implement smart building technologies to improve the efficiency of systems such as lighting, heating, and cooling.
Profile
The successful candidate will have 10+ years of facilities management experience and exposure to managing over 250,000 square feet. They will have had experience successfully executing leasing and vendor contracts, help manage construction projects for renovations and re locations, and provide leadership to the facility team members.
