Risk, Governance, & Compliance Analyst
This position supports core legal, governance, and compliance functions, with a particular focus on SEC reporting and regulatory adherence. The individual will interface directly with senior internal stakeholders, including Board members and C-Suite executives, contributing to the organization's transparency, accountability, and risk mitigation efforts. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements) in collaboration with legal and finance teams
- Support internal governance practices, including board meeting coordination, resolutions, and documentation
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to facilitate compliance-related communications and initiatives
- Monitor regulatory developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and guidelines
- Maintain records and support internal audits related to legal and compliance functions
- Draft and review basic contracts, agreements, and corporate policies under the guidance of senior legal staff
- Partner with risk, finance, and legal teams to enhance internal control processes and reporting standards
- Provide administrative and project support across governance, risk management, and compliance functions
Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related field
- 2 years of experience in corporate legal, paralegal, governance, or compliance functions
- Exposure to SEC reporting and public company regulatory environments
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, with experience interfacing with senior leadership
- Detail-oriented, with solid organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with reporting tools and governance platforms is a plus
Job Offer
$80,000 base salary.
