Lead Superintendent -Interior/Retail-General Contractor

As a Commercial Construction Interior Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in the on-site management and coordination of interior restaurant construction projects 1-5M+. Your primary focus will be to ensure that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other team members to drive successful project outcomes.

Join a dynamic team at a leading Commercial General Contractor (GC) in the 495 DC Beltway specializing in high-quality interior construction projects for restaurants, retail, office, hospitality and more. With a commitment to excellence and a portfolio of successful projects, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Interior Superintendent to oversee and ensure the successful execution of our interior construction projects.

Description

  1. On-Site Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  2. Schedule and Resource Management:

    • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and other project resources.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet or exceed project standards.
    • Implement corrective actions as needed to address deviations from specifications.
  4. Communication:

    • Facilitate regular project meetings to update stakeholders on progress and address any issues.
    • Maintain open lines of communication with project managers, clients, and team members.
  5. Problem-Solving:

    • Proactively identify and resolve construction issues to prevent delays and budget overruns.
    • Collaborate with project teams to find innovative solutions to challenges.

Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
  • Experience with restaurant construction is highly preferred
  • Strong background in interior construction projects 5M+
  • Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
