Senior Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Director, The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting decision-making within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This position provides an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a growing accounting and finance department.

Description

• Prepare financial statements to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to maintain financial accuracy.
• AP/AR
• Collaborate with internal teams to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in the preparation of audits and work with external auditors as needed.
• Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to drive operational excellence.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
